Lucinda Miu is a Toronto-based actress, performance artist, television personality, and drag queen extraordinaire. A showgirl at heart, Lucinda seamlessly blends an Old Hollywood aesthetic with avant-garde film influences, captivating audiences with her unforgettable performances. Renowned as a mentor and judge on Out TV's "Sew Fierce," she also brought Minnie to life on CBC Gem's "Queens" and charmed viewers as Gladys Claus in Lifetime's groundbreaking LGBT Christmas film, "The Christmas Set-Up."
In addition to her on-screen talents, Lucinda is a master costume designer, crafting iconic looks that have graced "Canada's Drag Race," HBO's "We're Here," and Global's "Private Eyes." Notably, she designed the wardrobe for Out TV's debut feature film, "It's All Sunshine and Rainbows" in August 2022, showcasing her creativity and flair. Lucinda's dedication to her craft extends to her own attire, where every outfit is a testament to her ingenuity and surprise reveals.
Lucinda also works regularly with Toronto Drag Queen Storytime, a Toronto-based initiative that brings drag queens in full costume and makeup together with local children and families to share in an hour of storytelling, dress-up, and fun. Lucinda has read and performed in countless libraries and schools across Toronto as well as in the Durham region.
