About Pythia
Based in Montreal
A proud Greek immigrant, Pythia has always been interested in everything the arts world has for her. She found herself deep in the world of theatre, costuming, set, and makeup design at the National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal, QC. Here, she was introduced to multiple mediums and skillsets that have proven endlessly essential to her career as an artist and drag performer.
Drag began as the means for combining her love of art, performance, fashion, makeup, and music to render artistic storytelling through visual mediums. The characters and stories that unfold on stage are the result of years of hard work, inspiration and passion, culminating in whimsical and fantastic experiences every time she sets her heel on stage.
Throughout her drag journey Pythia has stunned TV audiences with her out-of-the-box runways earning herself the position of runner up on Season 2 of Canada’s Drag Race, and gaining global attention and praise from Rupaul herself on Rupaul’s Drag Race Global All Stars. Pythia’s eccentric designs can be seen on several seasons of Canada’s Drag Race making her a pillar of the Canadian drag design community.
As of 2024 Pythia and her drag bestie Denim have collaborated on many conceptual performances, supporting each other throughout their travels and co-creating their visually captivating, zany drag theatre debut of Oraculum at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre in Toronto, ON.
Pythia is campy, theatrical, and uber fun; she is revered for her mind-melting and jaw-dropping looks and performances that are sure to take you out of this world. So open up your third eyes, and jump right into the supernatural dimension that is Pythia!
