Tara Nova was born and raised in rural Newfoundland. Her name is from ONE of TWO provincial parks on the island, Terra Nova. After graduating, she moved to the city of St. John’s to study, then discovered her local drag community. Two years later and Tara Nova has risen to the top of the scene.

Tara has taken drag to outport Newfoundland, and danced through every venue of her local scene. Next, the world! With huge ambition, lots of polish and dedication to her craft, She has created a show stopping sensation. At Tara’s show you should expect spins, dips, and a whole lotta hair whips.

The stage is only the tip of Tara’s iceberg. Tara has been graciously welcomed within the arts community in St. John’s for her natural ability to sew. You may have even seen some of her work on CDR 3! Known for being a self-made barbie, she has mastered the very art of drag as a whole. Need a look? She’s sewn it. Need a wig? She’s styled it.
